Aurora — Quebec, CA — July 2026

Rare auroras photographed late at night near Quebec City’s airport. Two days earlier, I had noticed a clearly visible sunspot while photographing the setting Sun, without expecting that auroras would follow.

ICLR — Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (April 2026)

A few pictures from my stay in Brazil during the ICLR 2026. Because it was my first trip to the Southern Hemisphere, I was able to observe a different portion of the night sky and celestial dynamics that are not visible from the Northern Hemisphere.

Flight Software Workshop (JHU APL) – Maryland, U.S (March 2026)

Attended the 19th Annual Flight Software Workshop at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, with talks on spacecraft software, AI, autonomy, mission operations, and future space systems.

Also joined a restricted visit of selected APL facilities, including its mission control, some of its spacecraft qualification test beds, and, most uniquely, insights into NASA’s upcoming Dragonfly mission, which aims to send an autonomous, nuclear-powered octocopter to Titan as early as 2028.

Overall, the workshop was a great opportunity to meet space professionals from around the world and have insightful conversations with them. I hope to attend the next FSW edition at NASA Goddard.
